Legal Administrative Assistant – Conveyancing

Ideal background and skill set: 

  • 3+ years of experience with real estate transactions (both residential and commercial) 
  • Experience with project conveyancing for multi-level developments is an asset
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate and lending documentation
  • Experience with BC Online searches and online registrations
  • Knowledge of Hot Docs and eConveyance
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work under time pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Some responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:

  • Written and telephone communications with clients
  • Conduct all searches and due-diligence inquiries
  • Preparation of all documentation relating to transactions
  • File documents in Land Title Office (online and physical)
  • Prepare all internal documents relating to trust transactions
  • Prepare reporting letters
  • Handle associated file organization and administrative tasks
