Operations Coordinator

TPD has partnered with Securiguard, an industry leading security solutions company based in Western Canada who is in search for accountable and eager Operations Coordinator. You will coordinate and execute day to day security deployment operations by providing coaching and mentorship to security officers in the portfolio to ensure that the client receives an excellent security service.

YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Working with our internal and external stakeholders, the Operations Coordinator oversees the administrative and organizational communication between the office and the staff.
  • Ensure the smooth deployment of staff, administrative and reception duties in an efficient and safe operation of all Securiguard in-field work in order to deliver projects according to plan for Securiguard and its Alberta clients.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all clients, guards, prospective clients and Securiguard representatives.
  • Manages and organizes scheduling for all sites.
  • Coordinates with guards according to availability, suitability and preference.
  • Arranges pay rates according to bill rates and wage ratios.
  • Controls and manages NBOT and BOT for each pay period.
  • Responsible for driving the NBOT numbers to a minimum by applying creative and strategic scheduling solutions.
  • Ensures that all guards are properly uniformed, informed and oriented for each site and its unique requirements.
  • Ensures all site specific requirements are met before guards are mobilized to site, i.e. security licenses, driver licenses, drug tests, specific training requirements, etc.
  • Manage the monthly uniform inventory program.
  • Issue and document uniform and PPE for all guards based on operational requirements.

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Minimum of one year experience in an administrative or scheduling position, preferably in a service industry environment.
  • Enthusiastic and committed approach to customer service.
  • Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines efficiently.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly to clients and staff; ability to effectively mediate and intervene in workplace, client and staff issues
