Recruiting Coordinator

TPD is currently looking for experienced Recruiters of all levels to assist with a temporary contract currently available!

Our client is one of the largest construction and development companies in North America and they are currently looking to bring on a reruiting coordinator to assist with hiring going into their busy season. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, this position would be hiring for their operational roles, such as Estimators, Site Managers Labourers, etc.

Pay Rate: $45k - $55k Salary

Length of assignment: 2 months (strong possibility of extension)

Location:  Edmonton

Start Date: ASAP


Duties and responsibilities of Recruiting Coordinator:

  • Work closely with recruiters to post, update and manage positions on the company website
  • Conduct reference checks and assist with other recruitment activities as needed
  • Use HireDesk applicant tracking software to screen and interview potential candidates
  • Mass hiring for large projects
  • Write job descriptions if the hiring manager does not have one


Requirements of the successful Recruiting Coordinator:

  • 1-2 years recruiting/coordinating experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration and/or Human Resources
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Must be very flexible and able to change plans/priorities
