The TPD Event Staff Coordinator will serve as an integral part of our Staffing division and work collaboratively with the Staffing Manager to deliver results.  As the people champion for the US division, the Event Staff Coordinator will work with our event management and hospitality clients to deliver world-class, temporary talent throughout the Pacific Northwest.  The Event Staff Coordinator should have an eye for talent and be able to motivate employees through leveraging their intrinsic motivating factors!

What you will be doing.

  • Source, Screen, Interview, Select and Hire Fieldstaff candidates
  • Conducts employee onboarding according to TPD standards including reference checks, assessments and other checks as required
  • Manage employee performance through conditioning sessions, corrective interviews, or terminations
  • Review Availables report and monitor staffing levels; ensuring a 4:1 Available to Working ratio
  • Distribute and collect timesheets   
  • Verify timesheets, staff hours and pay rates
  • Works closely with TPD Payroll team to process weekly payroll
  • Maintains and deepens current client relationships through exceptional customer service and delivery 


What you bring to the table.

  • 1-3 years of Supervisory experience in any field - with preference given to those from hospitality or event management
  • Previous experience in staff coordination is a strong asset
  • Post secondary education, with a strong preference for Human Resource Management or Business education
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Detailed and Organized work process
