Payroll and Benefits Manager

BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), owner and operator of BC Place Stadium and the Vancouver Convention Centre, is currently searching for a Manager of Payroll & Benefits to join our team.  This critical role will lead a small team responsible for administering payroll and benefits within a unionized and non-unionized environment, as the organization achieves its vision to be the global leader in outstanding venues and events.

  • Understand current and future changes to laws and regulations that may impact the organization’s payroll, compensation and benefits. Adopt requirements and communicate changes as needed.
  • Train and lead the payroll and benefits team to consistently deliver an accurate, timely and efficient payroll function.   
  • Provide oversight and direction for all leave programs including but not limited to: Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Workers Compensation, and Leave of Absence.



  • You deliver the essential corporate service of payroll with passion and ownership.
  • Your strong communication skills, sense of urgency and mature discretion result in an exceptional service to internal clients. 
  • A related education and supervisory experience in the payroll field.
  • A PCP or CPM designation will be considered a strong asset.
