Warehouse Customer Support

Our client, an industry leader and proud Canadian company specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of a wide range of interior and exterior finishing products. They are seeking an exceptional candidate, who presents both experience working in the warehouse as well as great customer service skills to manage the sales counter. They are located in North-East Surrey, and are presenting an amazing temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate!

This is an exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for handling all counter sales with customers and a host of loyal contractors, varying from general laborers to designers and architects. Training will be provided, and it will be full-time hours, working from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, or 9 am - 5 pm.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Meeting all customers and contractors, identifying their needs and assisting them in placing an order
  • Order creation and sale on POS/SILK system
  • Pulling order from warehouse inventory
  • Preparing orders for loading and shipment with customer
  • Arranging for order delivery
  • Lifting boxes of moulding/ finished products, up to 60 lbs
  • Processing invoices
  • Manage phone sales when available


The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a knack for creating solutions
  • Works well within a team environment
  • A background in sales would be an asset
  • An interest in woodworking or construction would be an asset
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50-60 lbs regularly
