Event Support Staff

We're looking for FRIENDLY, HARD-WORKING, RELIABLE individuals to help make all the great events that happen in Portland better.  

Whether you're looking to just pick up some extra hours or are on the hunt for a full time job, TPD can help you.  TPD is a third-party HR Services company working with various hotels, event centers, and party planning committees in the Portland Metro Area.  Our EVENT STAFFING TEAM helps companies set up, tear down, clean up, and ensure that major events run smoothly.

What a typical shift could look like:

  • Setting up tables and chairs for a conference
  • Providing customer service and directions for event guests
  • Assembling booths for vendors at a trade show
  • Erecting tents and canopies for an outdoor event
  • Directing traffic and assisting cars with parking

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude
  • Physically able to lift, carry, and move 25-75 lbs regularly
  • Physically able to stand, stoop, and walk for 6-8 hours
  • Reliable transportation
  • Smart phone and/or easy access to emails (for scheduling purposes)
