HR Specialist / Technical Recruiter

As an HR specialist, you'll be helping the company grow their diverse team as well as guide the ongoing HR practices. This role would be a perfect fit for someone that enjoys a lot of variety and progressive responsibilities in their work. Some of the duties for this role include developing HR processes and best practices, conducting full-cycle recruitment of technical professionals and developing an onboarding program.


Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Collaborating with personnel recruitment agencies to identify, interview and assess candidates.
  • Developing technical resource recruitment strategies to meet the growing needs of the different teams including - Software Development, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Support, Sales, Testing/QA and others.
  • Creating, improving, maintaining and administering Human Resources (HR) and company policies.
  • Addressing employment relations issues, such as work complaints, performance or attendance challenges, working conditions, and investigations.
  • Conduct training of staff with HR best practices and company policies
  • Manage all security training, performance-review, and professional development programs
  • Provide leadership and recommendations to the Executive team for improved processes


Desired Qualifications and Skills :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field (HR designations would be an asset)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of HR related work experiences
  • Experience with technical recruiting experience with in-house and/or agency experience would be a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of HR concepts, provincial standards, and procedures
  • Proven sourcing skills and a track record of closing tough to source roles
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion
